Chris Ashley is the Interactive University Project's Manager of New Program Development at the University of California, Berkeley. He coordinates campus and school district partnerships, project planning and implementation, and fundraising activities. He is a former elementary school teacher with extensive experience integrating technology into the classroom, planning, managing, and delivering teacher professional development at school, district, and county levels, and coordinating collaborative projects between the university and K12 schools. He is a Bay Area Writing Project Teacher Consultant and a 1996 National Educational Media Network Outstanding Teacher. He has a BA in Fine Art and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Hayward, and is finishing a Master of Science in Education at Dominican University in San Rafael, California.
